MY FIRST MEANINGFUL VENTURE,
AND FIRST STEP INTO FUNDRAISING AND PASSIVE INCOME.

As a volunteer at the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center
and at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program,
I got to see first-hand what it takes to keep a non-profit organization running, while still actually paying people!

Between the expenses of medical supplies,
equipment, rent, utilities, staff salary, feeding animals, enclosure and facility maintenance,
educational and promotional materials
plus merch for outreach events, to interface with the public
for the sake of making people understand, and hopefully care enough to make a donation or buy fundraising merch,
plus the vehicles, AND gas to get to these events...

I felt the reality, as someone who wanted to change the world
by funding my own projects, enough to respect
the why and how of both of these organizations even more.
I love taking care of animals, and learning from them,
but it wasn't enough. I knew I could do more to help the people I began to admire, and their mission,
which we now shared; the protection & conservation of wildlife through the rehabilitation of injured & orphaned animals.

But, like i said; this stuff ain't cheap.
THAT'S what inspired me to make my first round of shirts
